Is there any update on whether Airtable is considering adding a native scanner app to their web based application? The multistep process of scanning a doc and then uploading it to the field in Airtable is really annoying.

The document scanner is an OnSong Premium feature that lets you use your device's camera to import songs into your OnSong library. You simply line up the camera with pages on a table or music stand. The document scanner finds rectangles that look like paper and snap the shot. It automatically perspective corrects your pages.

The document scanner is available in OnSong 2020.0 and requires iOS/iPadOS 13 or higher because of the advanced computer vision that is being used. You'll also need to have OnSong Premium to use this feature.

The ET series book scanners come with CZUR all-in-one software, which power our digitization projects with tons of simplicity and versatility. Both of them combine all the smart technologies and essential tools you need from OCR to automatic document detection, from image trimming to color adjusting, in a user-friendly, simplified and sleek interface.

Scan once, output in a variety of different data formats. The all-in-one software fully utilizes the potential of ET professional document scanners. Whether you would like to scan into searchable document, standardized document or image, all supported.

We leverage Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology from ABBYY in our all-in-one software, which allows to recognize more than 180 languages. Thanks to the text recognition feature, those scanned paper documents, PDFs and digital images can be easily converted into searchable information. Moreover, the final recognized document looks just like the original.

These color modes are made with almost all kinds of documents in our mind. You may select and apply the best filter to your document for the desired use. Stamps Mode can be applied when you need to clear up the background but keep the colors. While B&W Mode can be applied to clear up the background and turn the scan into black and white. Just let you know that you are allowed to choose the mode before scanning or afterwards.

The ET series professional document scanners achieve the highest efficiency in the scanning process through a robust 32-bit MIPS (ET24 Pro Dual core openrisc 32bit) processor. Enjoy high-quality outputs in as fast as 1.5 seconds per scanning. Functions such as Page Turning Detection, Auto-Scanning, Rename Rule Settings and a one-click imaging processing kit ensure the highest productivity levels.

I'm trying to fully replace Evernote with Joplin. Im an Android user, and I need something to replace the document scanner functionality of Evernote in Android. Any recommendations? My main features are auto page scan and OCR.

Hi there! That's great to hear that you're interested in potentially working on a document scanner integration for Joplin. I haven't seen any discussions about this specifically, but it sounds like a really useful feature.

Anyway, there is now a plugin called Joplin Hot Folder that monitors a local folder and imports anything that appears in that folder into Joplin as a note. It could be used as a target folder for a scanner.

I scan my PDF documents with a Fujitsu ScanSnap IX100 and upload them with the Synology drive to a share of my Syno, where they are converted to a PDF with text overlay by OCRmyPDF which runs on Docker on the Syno. Afterwards this PDF stored i a second folder and from the hotfolder plugin imported into Joplin.

Click on download button to download scanned document. Three download options are present. JPG, PNG and PDF. JPG and PNG will download current selected scanned page in image format. Pdf download will download all scanned document pages and applies

In this study, a measurement protocol is presented that improves the precision of dose measurements using a flat-bed document scanner in conjunction with two new GafChromic film models, HS and Prototype A EBT exposed to 6 MV photon beams. We established two sources of uncertainties in dose measurements, governed by measurement and calibration curve fit parameters contributions. We have quantitatively assessed the influence of different steps in the protocol on the overall dose measurement uncertainty. Applying the protocol described in this paper on the Agfa Arcus II flat-bed document scanner, the overall one-sigma dose measurement uncertainty for an uniform field amounts to 2% or less for doses above around 0.4 Gy in the case of the EBT (Prototype A), and for doses above 5 Gy in the case of the HS model GafChromic film using a region of interest 2 X 2 mm2 in size.

I am trying to find a way to scan a long document which is 8.5 inches side by 18 inches long. I thought I would put it in hte adf and tell the xerox manager the size was custom and 18" long, but when I put it is custom, it defaults to the legal size of 8.5" x 14" format. Is there a way to scan a long document through the document scanner at a length that I might need to scan for?

I'm having the same issue on iOS 15 GM. Scanner version is "1.3" and Encoding Software is "iOS 15.0 (Build 19A346) Quartz PDFContext"Scans look normal before saving (before encoding) but after saving, they get low resolution and really low quality. The output file size is much smaller than before.I haven't scanned documents in notes app before but for now they look better. When I save the scanned document from notes to the files app. The Version and Encoding software are the same and resolution and size are roughly the same. So this means the issue is with scan engine and files app combination.Edit: I'm having this issue on iPad pro 2017 and iPhone SE 2016

iPhone 12 Pro Max 512 Mb Same here. since IOS 15 Upgrade My scanner image quality has decreased significantly. If I use Notes to scan the image is a little better. If I use a third party app like cam scanner then the image or PDF I should say is Top notch. I am not sure but I believe the text reader in the photo or camera is affecting the scanner quality.

We currently do a similar process with other documents where we scan the documents using MFP devices, rename them, then manually attach them to the appropriate record in Epicor. However, since receiving is a high volume function, we want to implement as efficient a process as possible, so we are interested to here if other companies are doing to efficiently scan and attach documents.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I set our system up to do this. It is kind of a dirty way of doing it. When an operator scans in a document, he scans it into a folder with a specific naming convention.

If the Intelligent Data Capture is unable to identify a valid PO number or Packslip number from a scanned document, how would the user go about manually setting those values? Can that step be inline with the workflow, so that once those values are set, the workflow will completes as usual?

Now when we take this manual sheet and go to our document scanner, the scanner should scan and be able to read the text on right top and be able to save the document file as "Ship Document No:100". Based on the scanner feature we want the file to save in a network shared folder.

This is all about software, any decent scanner will do. Fujitsu has software or you can look to Nuance for document management software. You can define section such as invoice number and have it name the file based on that data. There are limitless possibilities.

But, repairatrooper is correct in saying this is all about the software as well. This scanner seems to come with the software that does this. But other scanning software packages like ABBYY and Nuance paired with a decent Document scanner with duplex support will also be able to accomplish this.

Thanks for the useful post, Use Automatic file feeder to scan documents it is able to read files automatically, Even though document scanning solution also transform paper files into the digital images. 2351a5e196
