This app cheats players out of coins if you don't purchase products from the store. I have played for years and was at 7,000,000,000 coins. I have played 86,000 games so I think I know how the game works. Slowly I find that spins are not as they once we're, the cue ball has a mind of its own. I have gone from 7billion coins to 1.5 billion coins in 6 months. What a joke. I can't win a game to save my life. So at this point do I just stop playing and make it my life's mission to expose this fraudulent app for what it is?? This is bull shit. It's extortion at it's finest. "buy coins from us or we'll screw you over, big time"! It's a "free app" with in app purchases, not "well let you play and if you don't buy you're screwed"

I noticed when I play, if I double tap my home button on my iPhone it shows all my apps open. When I do this it typically shows a photo of the last thing I saw on 8 ball pool. But when I resume the app in the middle of game, it doesn't fast forward like the game has been playing, but rather it just resumes where it left off, indicating you aren't playing a real person since nothing changes why you are gone.

In 8 Ball Pool - Miniclip, players compete in a standard game of 8 ball pool, a popular pocket billiards game. The balls numbered from 1 to 7 are solid colored while those from 9 to 15 are striped, and the titular 8 ball is pitch black and is usually placed at the middle of the set. I've never really been good at pool. I can see the angles where I need to hit the ball but can never seem to execute properly. This can be frustrating for me since I can be fairly competitive. 8 Ball Pool has come to my aid and has made my feel a little better about my lack of real billiard skills and allows me to take my ability to see angles to a virtual pool table.

As the name of the game denotes, 8 Ball Pool is all about playing rounds of simple 8 ball. The rules are simple and easy to follow for those who aren't very familiar with this classic billiards game. After a quick tutorial the game sets players free to play online with random players or with their friends on Facebook or those with Miniclip accounts. Since I don't have Facebook or a Miniclip account, I've been playing online with people I don't know which has actually been really fun. I like playing against real people who can think, reason and make mistakes. Poker chips are the currency of the game and players must sacrifice some of their chips in order to play a round. Winners of each match take the pot and increase their winnings to be able to play in higher-stakes competitions.

The thing I like most about 8 Ball Pool is that it helps me line up my shots using trajectory lines. Simple one-touch controls are used to move the cue stick around to line up each shot. Lines appear to show where the cue ball will go and even how it will ricochet off of the targeted ball. This feature is great for people like me who can see angles but can't seem to execute the shots. This game really makes is fun and easy for players of all ages to enjoy a friendly game of virtual pool.

Overall 8 Ball Pool is a very fun and simple virtual pool game. With the right Internet connection it provides many hours of friendly competition. The game is only $0.99 but also has in-app purchases to buy more chips and other items. The presence of in-app purchases can be off-putting to some but luckily they aren't required to advance. Anyone looking for a worthy iOS billiards game will definitely want to check this one out.

8 Ball Pool is an online and mobile-based billiard-themed pool simulation sports game maintained and operated by Miniclip, a games company based in Switzerland, Portugal, Italy and England.[2] As of June 2015, 8 Ball Pool was ranked number one of one-hundred in Miniclip's Top 100 List.[3]

In 2008, Miniclip released a game which would later become 8 Ball Pool, whom they fittingly christened 8 Ball Quick Fire Pool. The game was described as a "simple variation of the classic 8 Ball Pool", the primary objective being to pot as many balls as possible before the timer runs out in order to secure a high score; sinking balls would add additional time to the clock.[7] The game was complex and highly addictive and, before long it had one million active players and was dubbed "one of the most played games on Miniclip".[7]

The Miniclip team worked productively and collaboratively in order to make sure that the game's physics were perfect; they had to simulate the true "look" and "feel" of the real life 8 Ball Pool.[7] Miniclip even claimed that they received emails composed by professional pool players regarding how well the game was put together.[7]

The main way they did this was by introducing a revamped ranking system and an all-exclusive virtual currency for the game; they would use these new Pool Coins to make players pay small entry fees to matches with even bigger rewards - prizes varied from 50 to 250,000.[7] In addition, experience would be given, allowing players alike to level up to their own accord.[7] 8 Ball Pool had again become even more competitive. In order to give players something to spend their pool coins on, 8 Ball Pool added a new feature which would later become one of the most iconic aspects of 8 Ball Pool itself: they would add cues to allow players to be able to spend their pool coins on something entirely different.[7] These cues would promote competitive play and entice more and more players in. Initially, 39 cues would be released[7] but this number was increased greatly to over 130. The update was released in December of 2012 and, as of early 2013, Miniclip had doubled their amount of players.[7]

In July of 2012, Miniclip would start conserving more time and energy into an entirely new update. They would first open up an office in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon with one sole purpose; to provide a mobile team for 8 Ball Pool.[7] In just over two-and-a-half years, the Miniclip Mobile team which had been working closely with tablet and mobile devices had generated hundreds of millions of downloads between a selection of classic mobile titles.[7] With the infrastructure to create great mobile games already in place, it made perfect sense to bring 8 Ball Pool to mobile.[7] The Miniclip team had been thinking about releasing a mobile version of 8 Ball Pool in early 2012, but it would be until the Summer of 2012 when the Mobile Team would commence a brand new project: a mobile 8 Ball Pool.[7] They had once released a Mobile version of 8 Ball Quick Fire Pool but it never really satisfied Miniclip's needs, it would be pulled out of the App Store in early 2012.[7] They found it clear that, if they were to build another pool-related app it had to be brought to the mobile version properly.[7] 006ab0faaa
