Referrals to an outside agency

Our district is very fortunate to have an agreement with local counseling agencies, Family Life Counseling out of Shelby and Heritage Christian Counseling. A referral can be made for a student to see them, with parent notification, and all appointments can be set up to meet at the school. This allows students to receive the mental health services they need without missing important instructional time, and parents won't miss work or have to worry about transportation to and from appointments. Our goal is to make sure that students have what they need to succeed academically and socially.
