Hello! My name is Sarah Poole, and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula through ProDoula. I completed my first doula trainings and certifications through Intuitive Childbirth in 2012, and became certified with labor and postpartum and infant care doula training through ProDoula in 2024. I have taken rebozo training with Big Belly Services in Seattle, WA, in 2014, as well as a tongue and lip tie class from Second Nine Months in Seattle, WA in 2024. I have been serving birth and postpartum clients in Pierce and King Counties in Washington State since 2012.

After less-than-ideal birth experiences with my first two children, I knew something needed to change. A friend recommended I look into birth doulas while I was trying to conceive my third baby, and I immediately was fascinated. Shortly afterward, I attended the birth of a close friend, and this experience helped me understand my true calling was in birth and postpartum work. It became a lifelong passion to help support women throughout this time in their lives and create a sense of empowerment and assurance of their own strength and wisdom throughout the life-changing process that is motherhood.

[ I had two births in a freestanding birth center, as well as two homebirths ]

[ I am a night owl, which totally makes sense for someone in birth work! Ha! ]
