For this assignment we were encouraged to experiment with focusing our DSLR cameras. We were also encouraged to find ways other than adjusting the focus on our camera to change the focus of the final photo without editing.
The ring of distortion created along the outside of this photo was created by stretching plastic wrap over the lens and smearing butter around the outer portion of the wrap.
The red color in this photo was added pre-capture using some plastic mesh packaging which originally contained tangerines. (This sort of mesh.)
The above two images simply showcase sharp, close focus.
