After a two-semester stint as the Production Director for KRUA radio at the University of Alaska (Anchorage), Douglas enjoyed over a decade working in commercial radio in Anchorage, Alaska and Palm Springs, California. He held morning show, afternoon, and evening drive posts including news gathering & presentation, commercial production, parody bit & song production, character/impersonation work, live event & remote broadcast hosting, and programming, He is also a three-time recipient of the Alaska Broadcaster's Association "Goldie" award.
He started producing freelance voice-work in 2005 and has worked with EA Sports, Sega, and many more clients throughout the years. In 2025 he began narrating audiobooks and garnered his first three clients within a week of joining the ACX audiobook service.
