The Law Enforcement Canine Division is to provide efforts in crime detection, crime prevention, suspect aprehension, and identification of narcotics, firearms, and explosives, and to provide assistance to other Law Enforcement Officers and its subdivisions.

Explosive Reconnaissance Unit (ERU)
The Explosive Reconnaissance Unit (ERU) is responsible for locating and identifying explosives. In cooperation with the ACTS, K9 ERU works to find and neutralize explosive threats of all kinds.
