This is where you go to apply for help with rent. There may be a waiting list but it is wise to get on that list while you search for housing. The Housing Authority will let you know what types of housing they can help you with through a voucher to make your rent more affordable if you qualify.

They can help you reduce your energy use and improve air quality if you are a residential applicant (homeowner) or renter (with landlord permission). To be a part of this program you must first apply for and be found eligible for help with gas and electric bills during winter months and be enrolled in Energy Assistance (WEAP). See below.
