Industrial Math Week 2026 Jul '26
Industrial Mathematics Week (IMW) is an annual event organized by the Industrial and Financial Mathematics Research Group ITB. The first week was dedicated to courses in Operations Research, Optimization Methods, Financial and Business Mathematics, and Machine Learning. The second week was dedicated to the symposia and the capstone project, where a team and I did Vehicle Routing Optimization. We also had individual assignments which I really enjoyed, especially the Physics-Informed Neural Network one!
Domain Expansion II Jun - Jul '26
A book reading hosted by HIMATIKA ITB, guided by two doctoral students (ITB Mathematics Alumni). We picked a chapter from Proof from The Books in pairs, present what we've learnt, and create a report!
My partner, Aufa, and I chose to dive into Buffon's Needle Problem. Initially I wanted to tackle a combinatorial problem but there weren't any slots left, so I integrated a bit of algorithmic mathematics by estimating π using Monte Carlo methods.
NEURONAL: Virtual Study Assistant Apr '24
I prompt engineered an LLM-based study buddy before it was cool. It was pretty rough around the edges, but it had agentic thinking and APIs in it so I learned quite a bit from this project. NEURONAL was awarded the 2nd best Final Project in product development during my high school graduation.
I regret to inform you that I can't find the original source code for NEURONAL. I have, however, found a technical document (Bahasa Indonesia) for a Poe-based prototype.
