Running Tribe

Running Tribe is a beloved club offered by the PTA at Dommerich that everyone is allowed and welcome to be a part of! They meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school starts from 7:45AM-8:15AM. The Running Tribe committee chairs are Jason Vaughn and Ashley Venturoni and they can be reached at DommerichESRunningTribe@gmail.com with any questions.  Dommerich also has staff sponsors to be at each Running Tribe morning. Our teacher sponsors this year will be Mrs. Wilhite and Mrs. Howat! All Kindergarten students are required to be accompanied by their parent(s) or guardian for the entirety, but students in older grades may be dropped off if necessary.  Each registered runner received a lanyard with their own individual barcode that gets scanned after each completed lap by either the chairs of the club or the school staff.  Each student's laps are recorded for the entire school year and will receive a special prize as they hit mileage milestones.  At the end of the year we have larger prizes for a variety of milestones and achievements!  This is our largest club and there is a kindly asked donation of $10/student for the year to help with the expenses that go into keeping this fun club going.
