๐ Translating Real-World Experience into Real-World Readiness
๐ Some programs donโt just teach tech โ they spark transformation.
With over two decades in the IT industry โ as a developer, architect, and leader โ Iโve learned that education is most powerful when it connects to the real world.
Thatโs why Iโm passionate about supporting the AWS re/Start program through my work at neuefische GmbH - School and Pool for Digital Talent.
For the past 5+ years, Iโve worked closely with aws re/start learners not just as a trainer, but as a mentor โ combining real-world project experience with a background in psychology to guide both technical growth and mindset development.
๐ก Itโs not just about teaching tools โ itโs about rewiring how learners think, solve problems, and build confidence in a new domain.
Through hands-on learning and direct alignment with employer expectations, our focus is clear: make students truly job-ready โ technically capable and professionally prepared to succeed.
A personal highlight from the AWS Summit Hamburg was reconnecting with former students โ now thriving in their cloud careers.
Among them was Pascal Spielvogel, who shared his inspiring transition from theatre to tech. Through AWS re/Start and our bootcamp, he shifted careers with focus and heart. Watching him speak on the Tech Alliance Stage was a humbling moment that reflected what this journey is all about.
A special thanks to Dalia Das, founder of neuefische, whose vision continues to empower learners from all walks of life.
And thank you Lucas Ruengeler and the AWS re/Start team for spotlighting these stories. Behind every learner is a journey worth celebrating.
Letโs keep building โ with purpose and people. โ๏ธ
A special mention to Dr. Hellen Fitsch, who drives social and ecological innovation with a grounded, down-to-earth spirit. Your presence and passion are truly inspiring.
Hereby, your humble friend,
