Cave In

I've lent my voice to bring characters from various game projects of my friends to life. Voice acting is a skill I plan to improve for use in the industry.

My Voice

With a background of classical singing training, a knack for imitating sounds and voices, stage theatre experience and voicing my characters in D&D, friends have often told me that I should get into voice acting. I'm by no means a trained professional - but I enjoy standing in front of the mic and giving life to my friends' and fellow students' projects. I've voiced some characters for games and film university projects and I've displayed my favorite one - Cave In, made by my best friend - here.

Story

„Let us begin this story where another one ended. A terribly long time ago, peace thrived between humans and sorcerers. Humans admired wielders’ strength, and we, magic users, admired humanity’s devotion. Until one sorcerer, lured by insatiable power, unleashed a catastrophic flood of destruction upon the land. An army of elemental beings, crafted from ice and water, left nothing but icy desolation in their wake. We called it the great flood. Though we, the magic users, took centuries to defeat the rogue sorcerer, the damage was irreversible. The humans, once allies, began to doubt our alignment. Outcasted and hunted, our kind sought refuge in the shadows, searching for redemption. Collecting ancient artefacts, we strive to uncover our ancestors’ knowledge, hoping to one day prove that not all of us are bound by darkness. Now that choice is laid into the hands of a young magic wielder, sent to retrieve a long lost artefact.“

Characters

Xero is a young student who is trying to pass their final exam by bringing an artefact back to their school. On their journey they enter a city, where they meet an old hag, that tells them the well has gone dry and a barkeeper who gives them a bucket to explore it. The well leads to a dungeon where Xero finds Nyx, the Antagonist.

Nyx seems to be only a voice of a soul that was trapped when trying to acquire the artefact. Later on Xero realises that Nyx is much more than that. Nyx is a shadow who was trapped within the artefact and wants revenge on humankind for locking them up, threatening with another catastrophe
