The 1st Amendment is currently beset by assaults from radicals who wish to curtail our rights to speak our minds and worship God. This is absolutely shameful and intolerable in the freest and greatest nation this world over. That is why I am a firm opponent of "safe spaces" and a stalwart proponent of RFRAs. Our Christian faith as a nation is under attack and as President I will do everything I can to defend it. We must continue to have our believe and not give in to the secular tendencies which seek to corrupt our Republic.

Without a doubt, Gun Rights are the most heavily besieged right held by Americans today. It is imperative that we protect this critical right. The fact is that the 2nd and the 1st are siblings. The 2nd Amendment is the guardian of all rights of the American Citizenry. It is particularly poignant that we oppose any attempt to grab guns with pointed veracity as that is how any Big Government wishes to trample its people. I am a proud gun owner myself. We must stay vigilant and I will continue to serve the rights of the grassroots.

Oftentimes, once you get past the 1st and 2nd Amendments, the rest of the Constitution falls to the wayside. This cannot be the case any longer. Amendments like the 3rd, 4th, and 5th are extremely important bulwarks of our freedom.
This is a nation that has Small Government ingrained into its spirit. The Government has no right to check up on you without a warrant. Today we say the great abridging of our Civil Rights in the name of "Security". It was Founding Father Ben Franklin that said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." I am a wholeheared believer in this philosophy. We cannot allow the CIA, the NSA, or the FBI, to continue with bulk-data collection or other forms of spying on the citizenry.
Due Process is just about as American as Apple Pie. Considering America was the first nation to implement it on a wide scale, this makes perfect sense, but unfortunately even this basic idea that the government and its bureaucrats cannot rob you of your rights whenever they feel so inclined is under attack. This is inadmissible in a Free Society such as ours and I will never give in to those attacks.
Governor Dobs addressing supporters on the importance of restricting government power.
In a Free Nation, it is of utmost importance that our Judicial System be fair and free to determine those breaking the law and in an impartial manner. The 6th, 7th, and 8th amendments are some of the first lines of defense against potential tyranny and serve the American people in perpetuity. The Government does not own the people, the people own the government. I run for that very basic Grassroots principle. We cannot let unjust laws be passed that violate that principle. A Government that protects its citizens right to Trial by Jury and to a fair one at that is a government which stands.
As a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Dixie, Governor Dobs greatly values the worth of the Fair Judiciary and believes that the law must work for the Grassroots.
Perhaps the most forgotten of the Amendments, the 9th and 10th bring up the back of the Bill of Rights for a very important reason. It is the enumeration in the Five Articles of the Constitution what the Federal Government can and cannot do. And it is the enumeration of the first 8 amendments of the Bill of Rights which rights are ensured to the people. But in a dynamic Republic such as this, that is not the end. The 9th and 10th amendments are extremely important in today's legal climate. We have a Federal Government that is all too keen to trample on the Rights of the States. We must decentralize government and move power away from Washington if we hope to have a truly free nation. And yes, often times this means that the President must give up authority and allow States to take over, even if that means enacting policies with which the President disagrees.
Governor Dobs, as Governor of Dixie, stood up for the rights of the State multiple times against Federal Encroachment.
As Governor, I have appointed 4 State Judges in my time. These Judges have all been firm upholders of the Constitution and I believe that the appointment of Supreme Court Judges is one of the most important discharges of Presidential duty. This is why it is crucial that we appoint Constitutionalist Judges who will exert Textualism with guiding light of Originalism when deciding their cases. I will ensure that my picks will stand firmly against Substantive Due Process and make their decisions on what the Constitution says, not what they want it to say. And make no mistake, Supreme Court Justices have the power, through Judicial Activism, to change what the Constitution says to fit their liking. We need Judicial appointments that will respect the bounds of their own jurisdiction and will recognize the importance of Democratic Choice. We need Judges that recognize that not every decision they make will be one that they like and that's ok, they are not the final arbiters of policy, they exist simply to weigh constitutionality.
Governor Dobs has a deep experience with the law and is ready to nominate warriors for the Constitution.
