1. What services do you offer as a virtual assistant? 

• All kinds! Email management, bookkeeping, scheduling, social media management, data entry, research, etc.

• We purposefully hire assistants and coaches who work in various domains. Some of our past clients have been nonprofit organizations, emerging small businesses, and creative industries (like artists and teachers).  

3. How do you communicate and share updates?

• We love to integrate ourselves in the systems you are already invested in like Email (Microsoft, Google), Slack, Zoom, Trello, Asana, etc.  

4. What are your working hours?

• We work 24 hours a day, because our team is global. Please allow 12 hours for a response.

5. How do you handle confidentiality?

• A part of our contract is a non disclosure agreement, but we also utilize secure file-sharing systems and simple data protection practices.  

6. Do you offer custom service packages?

• Yes, services can be tailored to client needs.

• The team works through Google Workspace, but we utilize things like Canva and other project management tools, like Miro.

• A free conversation followed with an intake form. Then, write a one page paper on what you/your organization needs within 2 weeks.

1. What is your experience in grant writing?

• Combined, the team has over 25 years of experience, and we have worked on federal, foundational, corporate, and other organizational opportunities.  

2. Do you specialize in a particular type of grant or organization?

• Not really. On purpose, we have a team of people who work on our different clients. We have helped to fund projects for/in nonprofits, education, healthcare, farms, arts, and community development.  

3. What does the grant writing process look like?

• Each opportunity is different, but essentially, we start by researching opportunities and then discussing the feasibility before creating the first draft to submit applications.  

4. How do you identify suitable grants for my organization?  

• After our initial meeting, we do a lot of research and enlist methods like leveraging databases and aligning mission and eligibility criteria.  

5. What information do you need from me to get started?

• We have an online form that we can go through with you, or you can do it on your own. It asks for things like organizational history, budget, mission statement, project details, etc.  

6. What’s your success rate with grants?  

• Grant awards depend on various factors, but for the past 5 years, we have had an 83% success rate.

7. Can you help with grant reports and follow-up documentation?

•  Yes, we assist with post-award requirements.  

8. How do you stay updated on grant opportunities and guidelines?

• We have subscriptions to various networks and databases like Grants.gov, Foundation Directory Online, etc.  

9. What is your turnaround time for a typical grant application?

• It's hard to tell without knowing the specifics based on grant complexity, but we try to have a 3 month timeline to getting you funded. 

10. What are your fees?

• We can create a plan to charge hourly, per project, or on retainer. Payment policies are outlined in the contract.

11. Can you train staff or provide templates for future applications?

• Yes, we offer additional capacity-building services.  

12. Do you offer consultations for organizations new to grants?

• We offer a free 45 minute introductory session and planning sessions on a case-by-case basis.
