2023 Workshop

The 3rd Discrimination and Diversity workshop took place on Wednesday, 21 June 2023 and Thursday, 22 June 2023.

To promote and encourage the excellent research by junior researchers, the School of Economics and the Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science at the University of East Anglia will be sponsoring two Outstanding Paper Awards worth £500 each.

The awards were given to the two most outstanding papers presented by early-career researchers, and the recipients were announced at the workshop.

The recipients of the Outstanding Paper Awards are:

Madina Kurmangaliyeva, ECARES, ULB (University of Brussels)
Walking While Black: Racial Gaps in Hit-and-Run Cases

The workshop featured 5 paper sessions each consisting of 4 presentations. Each session had a dedicated theme and was chaired by an expert researcher:
