Lending Library

Due to a generous donation from the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation in 2021 the DMNB PoCUS club is able to lend 6 Butterfly iQ ultra-portable ultrasound probes to DMNB students. The probes connect to compatible Apple (iPhone, iPad) and Android (Samsung, Google, OnePlus) devices so students can practice at school, home, or in a variety of clinical settings. 

Currently there are 2 probes with Lightening connection for older Apple products and 4 probes with USB-C connections for Android products and some Apple products.

• It is preferred that students collect and return probes on Mondays and Thursdays if possible

  • Pick up between 10am-12pm

  • Returns between 12pm-2pm

• You may only rent one probe at a time unless discussed with the LRC

• Rentals run for one week unless previously discussed with the LRC
