Dr. Sarbani Banerjee serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Roorkee, India. Her research spans Postcolonial and Partition studies, Trauma and Memory studies, Disability studies, Tribal studies, and Intersectional gender studies. She has authored numerous scholarly articles in esteemed journals such as South Asian Review, Journal of Postcolonial Writing, and Interventions, among others. Her recent publications and co-authored contributions offer critical insights into trauma and memory, indigenous feminist studies, and medical humanities. In addition, Dr. Banerjee has presented her research at prestigious national and international conferences, including MLA, ACLA, and NEMLA. Dr Banerjee is also an active peer reviewer and a regular speaker at scholarly forums focused on literature, performance, and cultural studies.
