Distinguished Service Awards

There are three ways for DKG CA to recognize outstanding leaders at the state level:

Distinguished Service to DKG California - The nominee must be a current DKG member who has served, or is currently serving, in a leadership role in her chapter and in two or more capacities at the state level. The nominee must have demonstrated commitment to the Society at all levels: Chapter, Area, and State.
Distinguished Career/Professional Service - The nominee must be a member of DKG California and must have developed an educational program or activity which has an impact on the profession, is acceptable for the present as well as the future, and is recognized as an example for other educators.
Distinguished Public Service - The nominee must reside in California, but he or she does not have to be a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. The nominee must have made, or be making, an outstanding contribution in public service, whether as a professional or volunteer, in business, industry, government, social services, or fine arts.

(The awards above are decided at the DKG CA level, but suggestions are welcome.)
