I always dreamed of creating a vehicle that could pull up and provide the music and lights for a party. I was fortunate that one of my work friends was going to trade in his lovely little Scion xB to purchase a new vehicle and I made an offer as it seemed like the perfect shell to make a compact DJ mobile and he agreed (Thanks Patrick)! With help from my wife and son I carefully restored and customized the Scion until eventually, I had put in enough hours for "Garage Madness" to set in and I started calling the brave little toaster it's new name "The Boombox". I added LED lights inside and out, sound deadend the entire vehicle, built a custom subwoofer and boombox, and added about a mile of cables. The tires were bedazzled with tire stickers and I painted the beautiful box "Frozen Blue" with Plasti-Dip (Thank you Fonzie). Sometimes, I add a bubble machine and sometimes it has a Nintendo mini or other goodies...
