TASK 3 - Summarise Content of Video

  1. Play the video in your class (a class can be a lecture, workshop, seminar).
  2. Let them watch the whole duration of the video or just a specific segment of the video.
  3. Using tools such as Twitter, Sli.do, Mentimeter, Google Slide, GoSoapBox, Backchannel Chat, ask them to do some of the following things (individually or in a group):
    • Summarise the main points of the video
    • Share their thought or reflection on the content presented in the video
    • Ask questions on the content presented in the video

TASK 4 - Embed Questions in Video

  1. Choose a video from YouTube.
  2. Create questions at different points in the video using applications such as Edpuzzle or TED-Ed.

TASK 5 - Slice the Video

Sometimes you just want to take a specific segment from the entire video. You can do this easily using an application called Streamable.

  • Find a video on YouTube. Copy the link and paste it in Streamable. Identify the section/segment you want to cut.
