This week the robot arm was attached to the z-axis system designed lasted week. Additional brackets were designed to stabilize the robot's z-axis system. PID code was implemented to control the DC motor that controls the robot arm's height.
It was difficult to find a robust, and sturdy method to attach the robot arm to the z-axis. It is essential that the robot arm movement be as smooth and precise as possible, and to insure that, the mounting system for robot arm will be a key focus going forward.
