Greetings, District 32-S Lions!
We are so excited for this year’s District Convention! This year’s convention is being held in Greenville at the Hilton on Orchard Park Drive. It promises to be a fun time for all.
This year, we will be doing things a little differently on Friday night. We usually do “Dinner on Your Own” before the Friday evening entertainment. For this convention, I am asking you to consider coming to the Friday evening program and eating there instead. We will be having a “Nacho Fiesta” with a full buffet-style Nacho bar, which I promise will be more than enough for a full meal. We will then have a high-energy, fun entertainment program provided by one of our newest clubs.
On Saturday, we will have a Service Project*, informative and fun educational sessions, the Cabinet Meeting, where we will elect our 2026-2027 2nd Vice District Governor, along with the Recognition Luncheon and Banquet.
*I am asking every attendee to bring at least one package of new, unopened socks that will be donated at the end of the convention.
We would love to have EVERY club in the district represented at the Convention - with representatives and with Silent Auction entries. The Silent Auction will raise funds for LCIF and LVS, and we would be so grateful to be able to donate at least $1,000 to each organization.
Whether you are a first-time attendee or a seasoned Convention-goer, I promise you will have fun! This is our time to celebrate the wonderful things happening in our District and to celebrate all of YOU! We have many wonderful Lions in our District and I hope to see you all there!
