Cut off at the port is 4:30pm
The LFD will be shorter than usual
The days on the street change as well
Make sure driver picks up GENSET if work order specifies
Reefers will be on chassis already, but the driver has to go to the swing-line to get container mounted on our own chassis, then go pick up the Genset if a work order specifies.
Deduct one day,
LFD for MSC, CMA, APL - deduct 2 days when notifying these containers
If LFD falls on a weekend, move it to Friday.
If LFD falls on a holiday move it to previous working day.
A container that was used for import move and is being re-used for export move
Look for Import containers of the same size & same steamship-line.
We can ask the customer who sent an export order to change booking to "Flex" this will allow us to pick up a 40' standard instead of 40HC, or vice versa.
On PCS search under "steamship" on both the En-route & available. If the size & steamship line match we can submit a street turn request. Once approved, we should get an email with approval, this will be our "interchange ticket" and it needs to be uploaded to both the Import load & Export load.
If shipper damages container, we need to let the steamship line now and customer as well.
On all Exports - driver needs to inspect the container
If a container is damaged on the port, we have to notify the steamship line
If the consignee damages container, let the steamship line know, and customer as well.
