Export - checklist

• Check that the booking is on file

• Make note of the ERD & cut off date

• Check where the empty container is being released.

• Set up appt with shipper. Driver ideally would be back to the port of charge on the first day of receiving (ERD)

• Look for street turns

When picking up empties outside of the port call/email the equipment dept for the assigned steamship line

Release date - the day empty container can be picked up

Receiving date- day loaded container can be dropped off

Cut off date- last day we can drop loaded container

If the loaded container is dropped off at the Rail Road make sure to do the rail billing with steamship line & pay the chassis flip if necessary
