Unlike the rest of the group, Jelena has a background in biochemistry. She is an experienced researcher in the field of oxidative stress, lipid and glucose metabolism. Sometimes she gets confused with biology-related jokes, but, when someone else gets confused with complicated chemical reactions involved in the processes we study, she is always there to help.
