Rooms

The Rooms at Disney's Memories Resort will very modern rooms while being sleek and minimalistic to reflect current trends in the hotel industry.

Every room will feature two queen sized beds. One on a traditional bed frame, and the other being a murphy bed which folds out onto a dining table. Benches beneath this this dining table slide in and out from below the table allowing for seating to easily appear and disappear whenever the need arises. Nightstands flank each side of the headrests. The central nightstand offers a landline. Storage space is available in the form of drawers within each night stand.

Built in above each of the three night stand will be USB outlets allowing for plenty of areas to charge electronic devices easily, and above the left and right most night stands are power outlets for devices that have to be plugged into, well a power outlet rather than a USB outlet. Above the central nightstand, built into the wall, a digital touch screen pad is present. This built in pad allows for alarms to be set, control the room's temperature, turn on and off the lights, set the brightness of the lights, give the daily forecast, tune into radio stations, and even tell time! On the walls and on the ceiling basic light fixtures are present illuminating the room, and as mentioned before can be controlled by the touch screen clock or by a basic light switch. Above the light switch will be a classic thermostat to control the temperature of the room. Upon request a regular alarm clock may be requested, but quantities are limited.

Beyond the sleeping area a plush living chair is available next to the windows offering guests a perfect place to unwind, and maybe even read. An elaborate drawer-desk-kitchenette combination sit in front of the beds. On the rightmost section will be a cleverly hidden mini fridge, coffee maker along with complimentary supplies, and a microwave all spread through a simple shelving solution. In the center will be the desk along with a hidden trash bin, and a rolling chair. At the leftmost section will be the drawers for guests clothing, and above that a flat screen tv. Every tv comes with complimentary access to Disney+, and other channels such as NBC, CNN, HGTV, etc.

Located behind a set of sliding doors the bathroom and closet appear. Within the closet guests may find a safe, iron, ironing board, and built in hangers along with space for more hangers. Double sinks are offered allowing for multiple guests to get ready in their routines. A large backlit mirror stands behind the sinks, and nearby a hairdryer is hanging readily on the wall. Located in a much smaller room guests will find the toilet, towel rack, and the shower-tub combo. The shower will be comprised of an overhead rain shower head system, along with a regular shower head system, water faucet, and detachable sprayer.

Decorating the room guests will encounter one of two decor options. For guests without Disney's Photopass nor Memory Maker they will be able to see vintage photos of the various Disney parks in frames throughout the room. However, guests with Disney's Photopass or Memory Maker are in for a treat. They will see that throughout the room photos of members of their party that were taken on this trip are displayed throughout the room further engulfing guests into the idea of making memories that Disney's Memories Resort is proud of. These frames are linked to the lighting levels of the room, so if guests have the lights off then they will be off, and if guests have the lights dimmed then the frames will be as well. The frames have an additional sleep setting which guests can set up for the frames to be off daily for a certain time frame.
