The Joyous Pool
Located within the the Joyous Memories section of the resort guests will be able to visit the heated Joyous Pool. The Joyous Pool will feature characters from Disney*Pixar's Inside Out as Joy, Sadness, and the rest of the gang are in the center of the pool as they work at a 360 degrees Headquarters control panel allowing for each of the emotions to be at a station. Throughout the day Joy will celebrate a great day as the control panel shoots out water from water canons into the air wetting guests within the pool. Under the water guests will be able to listen to the same music being played above the water as speakers beneath the water are present, and synced up to the speakers above the water. Throughout the day various poolside activities will be held.
Bing Bong's Splish Splash Pad
Towards the end of the Joyous Pool guests will find Bing Bong's Splish Splash Pad. When Riley was little she imagined a whole world of water, and Bing Bong would be the captain of the S.S. Rocket Wagon. Bing Bong in a sailor's outfit will be standing tall looking out towards the Joyous Pool as the S.S. Rocket Wagon is sent up from the "seas" by a geyser. A part of the splash pad will be a small kiddie pool is offered, and the other section of the splash pad will be comprised of fountains that shoot water in the air. Throughout the day the S.S. Rocket Wagon will shoot out bubbles.
The Puddle Pool
The Puddle Pool is a quiet pool for the resort located in the Magical Memories section of the resort. Guests are shrunk down to the size of a fairy, and get to enjoy the Puddle Pool. A lily pad is floating in the center of the pool allowing for a place where guests may relax in the center of the pool. Lounge chairs are available to relax in around the pool, and on the lily pad.
The Sinister Pool
The Sinister Pool is a quiet pool for the resort located in the Fearful Memories section of the resort. Guests are brought into the dangerous world of Moana as various kakamora lay hidden in the bushes ready to ambush unsuspecting guests. Lounge chairs are available to relax in around the pool.
Resort Activities
Throughout the day various activities are held at different locations at the resort. Here are a sampling of said activities:
Play Disney Parks App Features - Listen to some of Disney's most memorable tunes, participate in mini games with the whole family, and view an image gallery of all the photos being currently displayed at Disney's Memories Resort.
Pool Games - A variety of Disney themed pool games will occur throughout the day with trivia challenges, relay races, naming songs, oversized board games like giant Jenga, etc.
Joy's Super Duper Happy Fun Time Pool Party - Cast members come out announcing it is time for Joy's Super Duper Happy Fun Time Pool Party. The latest pop music catered by Radio Disney is played as cast members lead party goers in dancing, limbo, and even hula hooping contests.
Picture Perfect Painting - For an additional fee on certain days guests may attend a painting session led by an instructor on the Memorizer Flavors outdoor patio. Guests keep their works of art as a picture perfect way to remember this painting experience.
Hair Wraps & Temporary Tattoos - For an additional fee guests may get a hair wrap , or an airbrush temporary tattoo.
Mickey Tie Dyeing - For an additional fee guests are given a white shirt in their size, and are taught how to tie dye the shirt while making a Mickey Mouse shape in the shirt. Bandanas are also available to tie dye.
Family Trivia Night - Held on Memorizer Flavors outdoor patio families are invited to join in a trivia night. Through a series of trivia questions that get progressively tougher families can win prizes such as a free large pizza, a shirt for the Mickey Tie Dyeing service, a free ride in the Disney Minnie Van Service to a park, a pass for the Young at Heart Arcada, and many other possible prizes.
Movie Under the Stars - Held on the Family Fun Field, families are invited for a screening of a Disney movie rated either G or PG. Occasionally guests will get to choose what they watch based on their cheers for a certain movie. A food truck is present offering up treats for guests watching the film to enjoy.
This is just a sampling of all the fun activities offered throughout Disney's Memories Resort. Countless more activities are available to make it more alined with the Art of Animation and Pop Century's vast assortment of activities.
Tinkerbell's Playground
Located between Buildings 2 and 6 guests will find Tinkerbell's Playground. After her most recent visit to the Mainland, Tinkerbell happened upon a human playground, and was inspired to create her own. Building with what she could find throughout Pixie Hollow Tinkerbell was able recreate a playground, and she now invites all her friends to come and play. Large oversized props makeup the equipment found throughout the playground such as a straw cut in half being a slide, or acorns serving as roofs for towers.
Young at Heart Arcade
The Young at Heart Arcade is a cutting edge modern arcade stocked with some of the newest arcade games along with some certified classics. Games that can be found include: classics such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Galaga along with Disney based games such as Tron, Fix-It Felix Jr. and Star Wars: Battle Pod. To play games, guests must purchase a game card and add game points using a credit card or cash at a kiosk inside the arcade. Game cards are rechargeable and can be used at other Walt Disney World Resort arcades.
Jogging Trail
A jogging trail is offered to allow guests a breezy one mile run around Disney's Memories Resort. Guests can enjoy the scenery, nature, and photos that they pass along their run.
