The words of Walt Disney continue to echo across his Magic Kingdom as we step forward into a boundless future. Here at Disneyland Resort, we’re stepping into an age of new philosophies, ideas, and stories, that come together and flourish into a spectacle of new experiences and entertainment to explore. DisneylandForward is a project that embraces Tomorrow by stepping into entirely fresh worlds, with a clear timeline set into phases. This Special Presentation gives you an exclusive glimpse into the first peak of our project: Phase 2. While Phase 1 of Forward is a renovation and update to existing lands and additional infrastructure (including the updated shopping district, Westcot Springs), Phase 2 is the earliest highlight for Disneyland, with its concepts and plans set to begin construction in late 2024 and complete summer 2028, right at the season of the 2028 Summer Olympics at Los Angeles…

Incentive

DisneylandForward’s bold step into the future of the resort is a clear understanding of  what we at Disney would like to achieve in our golden standard of theme parks and resorts. Our incentive is to create a welcoming, magical environment that is both inclusive and natural, immersing you into thousands of different worlds. Disneyland Resort’s current state is less than satisfactory towards our standards, including its small size, poor infrastructure (i.e. Hotels, shopping, parking/driving), and more. We plan to achieve a harmonic balance between recreation and exploration, and the incentive allows us to bring the vision forward in a new way.
