Studio Rules

If you or your student choose to take lessons at my studio, then please follow these studio rules below!

Other rules I did not mention here will be found in the FAQ as well as Contact Me tabs.

1. Always bring your notebook as well as your piano books or sheet music to your lessons. Doing so would effectively let me write down what homework you or your student should do following their lessons.

2. Bringing your own bottled water is optional. If you need a drink of water, the bottles are provided for a reason. Please ask me first before you do so! Keep in mind if you drink from a bottle provided, it is yours to take.

3. Always ask before using the restroom if needed! The restroom is located after you take the first left from the lesson room, walk 3-4 steps, and then take the second left. You will see the toilet in the distant room ahead!

4. All families normally have a one week window to pay after each lesson. Failure to pay one week after the previous lesson will result in twice the payment after the next lesson. Check the FAQ to learn more about your preferred payment frequency.

5. You can ask me questions all you like, but make sure they are related to YOUR LESSON ONLY! If you ask me a question unrelated to your lesson, I will answer it at the end of class if time-permitting.

6. Sick students are allowed to come to the lesson unless they are at the point of needing to lay down, at which point they are excused, or can cancel their lesson as needed. If your student is sick, but still wants to come, they can feel free to on the condition that they need to bring facemasks. 

7. No cursing please! Watch your language!

8. NO UNDRESSING AND OR PRIVATE EXPOSURE! PLEASE! This is a classroom for crying out loud! Not a changing or locker room!

9. No motorized toys allowed! Plushies as well as static or action figurines are okay!

10. Unless they are taking lessons, babies and or very small children are NOT allowed in the studio at all!

11. No pets allowed!

12. No wandering both DOWNSTAIRS (except if you need to use the restroom) and UPSTAIRS during and after the lesson!* 

13. All students must remain seated throughout their own lesson time. If they really need to wander somewhere, ALWAYS ASK ME FIRST!

*This rule is exceptional to students who are "close friends" with both me and my family; those said students are allowed to wander downstairs after their lessons finish, but still NO UPSTAIRS!
