Dishant is a New Delhi native with a zest for life and a drive for learning. His interests span the world of music and sports and holds a foundation in mechanical engineering. He successfully completed a diploma in mechanical engineering from Ganga Technical Campus, showcasing his dedication to academic pursuits.During his diploma internship period, he had the privilege of contributing his skills and knowledge to Ford Automotive Services. This opportunity allowed him to gain invaluable insights into the industrial landscape and deepen his expertise in the automotive sector. Building upon these experiences, he continued his educational journey and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from MDU University in 2022.
Dhruv has had an innate passion for robotics since childhood which led him to gain experience in mechanical and electronics engineering as well as coding. Through participating in various national level competitions like ABU ROBOCON and having worked in various startups in the field of robotics, his multidisciplinary insight provides a simple holistic solution to even the most challenging problems. At DIML, his focus lies on designing and manufacturing dexterous orthotic devices for patients with spinal cord injuries. Having a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MIT Academy of Engineering, Pune in 2020 ,his core competencies lie in mechanical design, additive manufacturing and system design.
With a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and experience as a Jr. Project Assistant (Tech), he stands out as a versatile professional. His impressive track record includes active participation in prestigious national competitions like SAE Supra & BAJA and an enriching internship at IIT Ropar. Now, he seeks an opportunity to tackle challenging problems, applying his extensive knowledge and technical skills to contribute to the dynamic DIML group. His focus lies in investigating the hemodynamics and forces in arteries and veins under aneurysm and thrombosis conditions. Proficient in CFD, CAE, computational simulations, and 3D-designing.
Ayush has completed his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune (MIT-Pune) in 2020. He has joined as Project Assistant in August 2021 at CBME, IIT-Delhi. He is working on the design and fabrication of a portable slip tester.
Komal has completed her Master's in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Indian Spinal Injuries Center, Delhi in 2020. She has her Bachelor's in Prosthetics and Orthotics from V.M.M.C and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi in 2014. She has completed one project entitled "Development of a wrist driven writing device for the patients with spinal cord injury" as Co-PI funded by AO Spine Foundation. She has joined as Project Assistant in February 2022 at CBME, IIT-Delhi. She is currently working on the design and fabrication of foot orthosis.
