J. L. Jogi Scholarship, Department of Mathematics
The Mathematics Department at Motilal Nehru College proudly presents the J. L. Jogi Annual Scholarship, awarded to the highest achiever in B.Sc (H) Mathematics within the department. This esteemed scholarship, established by one of the founding faculty members, Prof. Jawahir Lal Jogi, aims to foster excellence in Mathematics among students.
In 2005, Prof. Jogi made a generous contribution to promote mathematical education, igniting a tradition of awarding this scholarship to deserving students annually. Since 2013, his visionary initiative has not only been motivating students but also has been serving as a shining example of how even modest gestures can yield significant impacts. It is very sad that we lost such a generous personality on 4th April 2024.
The college is also supporting students from economically weaker backgrounds by providing them fee concession every year.
