I am a maître-assistant at the Université de Neuchâtel.
I do research in number theory. My research interests include: Diophantine geometry, Diophantine equations, (semi-)abelian varieties, unlikely intersections, (mixed) Shimura varieties, o-minimality, heights, uniformity, and effectivity.
I teach mathematics courses for students studying mathematics as well as "systèmes naturels", data science, and computer science.
I am the PI of the project "Atypical and typical intersections in semiabelian varieties", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Nicola Ottolini is working on this project as a post-doc and Francesco Gallinaro is a project partner.
Furthermore, I am the Swiss coordinator of the French-Swiss Germaine de Staël project DiPARATroL (Diophantine Problems in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Trois Lacs), joint with Sara Checcoli (Grenoble) and Francesco Campagna (Clermont-Ferrand).
