Digital solutions for manufacturing
(MaaS & SaaS)

Equipment-as-a-service (EaaS) and Software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models are revolutionizing industrial value creation. But it's not just machine and plant manufacturers that are relying on service business models; startups are also increasingly involved in the value chain of EaaS and MaaS offerings.

Energy Robotics

About: Inspection with the world's most advanced robotics: Energy Robotics' mobile inspection robot software solutions are used in the chemical and energy industries in addition to the oil and gas industry. The goal is to use autonomous robots to keep humans out of dangerous or hazardous work environments while increasing the quality and frequency of inspection. "Inspection robots can relieve humans from repetitive work in environments that are hazardous to health. Our concern is to make the necessary work in such occupations easier and safer," explains Marc Dassler, CEO of Energy Robotics.

CloudNC

The British company claims to be developing the factory of the future with artificial intelligence. Even if one sees so far rather a classical CNC production,

the focus seems to be to have no more human decisions from the order to the delivery of the components. For this, the company is cooperating with DMU Mori as a machine manufacturer.

The industry is growing at 12% per year and at the same time there are fewer and fewer skilled workers to enforce programming of machines. Time to start working on autonomous CNC programming and manufacturing.

Addimap

Germany may no longer be the land of the most visionary entrepreneurs, but consistency, quality and reliability carry over into the digital corporate world.

AddiMap is a platform where AM component manufacturers can distribute their process parameters and characterization results. This should help to increase productivity and minimize parallel testing.

It is therefore not possible to order AM components directly online, but for manufacturers the platform can deliver great added value under certain circumstances.
