Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.

There are 3 types of artificial intelligence (AI): narrow or weak AI, general or strong AI, and artificial superintelligence. We have currently only achieved narrow AI.

According to certain system of classification, there are four types of AI or AI-based systems: reactive machines, limited memory machines, theory of mind, and self-aware AI.

Specific applications of AI include expert systems, natural language processing, speech recognition and machine vision.

Artificial intelligence is the capability of a computer system to mimic human cognitive functions such as learning and problem-solving. Through AI, a computer system uses math and logic to simulate the reasoning that people use to learn from new information and make decisions.
