Throughout exploring the standard 1-1: Empowered learner, I've learned just how technology can be fundamental in the learning experience. Empowered learners use technology not just as a tool but as an assistant in their educational journey. They use it to set goals, monitor their progress, as well as use digital resources to improve their learning. One important piece of information from this would be just how important using technology in our classrooms encourage our students to be self-directed learners. They will use online tools to personalize their learning experiences and become accountable for their learning. we need teacher to support students in developing their technology toolbox to ensure they are actively engaging in their learning. I plan on incorporating these strategies into my teaching practices this year but using technology to facilitate personal learning and individual goal setting. By doing this I will help my students become engaged in their learning and the learning process.
