FUNCTIONS OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (ET) BRANCH

1. To develop effective and low cost teaching aids for various subjects for elementary education & elementary teacher education with the help of concerned staff of DIET & other R.Ps.

2. To help DRU in developing low cost teaching aids.

3. To maintain following.

   1. 1. • All A.V equipment of the institute.

         • Computer lab.

         • A library of educational video/audio cassettes.

         • To lend slides, cassettes and films to institutions having playing/projection facilities.

         • To liaise with nearby Radio station for arranging educational broadcasts suitable for elementary school children, teachers, AE/STC learners etc of the district.

         • To conduct appropriate in-service programme for teachers in the area of ET.

         • To provide ET related inputs into all other programmes/activities of the institutions.
