Career Goals
Growing up surrounded by entrepreneurs, I heard and seen the benefits of running your own business. Additionally, I've always been fascinated with the "behind-the-scenes," so creating my own business seemed like the only option. I hope to utilize both my Business and Biology degrees and go into the environmental sector. Using the skills and knowledge I got from my business degree, I want to create a profitable business that doesn't just advocate for the environment, but creates a system where being environmental clean is cheaper and more efficient.

Leadership
SHB - My freshman year, I was fortunate enough to become part of the Students Honors Board. Throughout my time, I've gone from Fresh Representative to Sophomore Representative to Barowsky School of Business Representative where I plan to stay until I graduate. In this role, I have brought the needs of concerns of my peers to light and have help make decisions on multiple courses and co-curricular experiences that are now offered at Dominincan.
What I learned: From this, I have gained experience in decision making and discussing and debating in a professional setting.
BSA - Building up to BSA President, I have been apart of the planning and executing of numerous alumni networking events, career workshops, and speaker events. Additonally, I lead the Barowsky School of Business, helping our advisors whenever all grades are together. Whether it be picking up cookies from Sprouts, getting up in front of everyone and having a conversation with a speaker, or singing our Spirit Song, I'm there to help.
What I learned: From this, I have been able to practice my public speaking, event planning and organizing, and learned how to take an idea and see it to fruition.
PSAAC - I've been in PSAAC since I was a Freshman and have been just a member ever since. However, my Junior year, I got promoted to President. This put me at the forefront of every athlete at Dominican. This role includes organizing student-athlete bonding and community service and promoting each and every team so that they get the respect they deserve.
What I learned: Moving up straight from member to president has taught me that I won't always have the answers. Regardless of how confident I am, I still need to go out and lead. This role has also taught me the value of asking for help, admitting when you don't know something or that you did something wrong, and delegation.
Rotaract - In my role as Rotaract Champion, I have brought awareness to my community for the environment and people in need. This was accomplished by hosting upcycling events and encouraging people to use reusable mugs as well as bringing a Vitalant van to Dominican's campus and having people donate blood. As "Champion," I lead by example, show up at all events that I can, and help out in whatever way they need.
What I learned: This role has taught me more about values than skills. I learned the value of keeping your word when you say you are going to be somewhere. I learned the value of doing what people need you to even though it "isn't my job." This were all things that were taught to me but that I can practice in this club as we have a small board that is always very busy with school, sports, and work.
