The team has a wide experience in the development of advanced offline tests in electric motors.
These tests have the advantages of providing an overall and complete vision of the motor condition. On the other hand, they must be developed while the motor is offline, so they require the disconnection of the machine.
The team has the knowledge and equipment to develop a wide range of offline tests. All the tests are developed according to the most updated international standards.
The team services include the visit to the user site to perform the corresponding measurements or the reception of the inspected motor at our facilities to perform the tests. A complete report is provided to the user based on the obtained measurements.
The team also provides assessment for the development of these tests either in the industrial plant or motor repair shops.
More specifically, the battery of offline tests that are offered for electric motors are specified next:
Ohmic resistance test, IEEE 118-1978
Insulation resistance test, IEEE 43-2000 (IEEE 43-2013)
Polarization index (PI)/Dielectric absorption (DA), IEEE 43-2000 (upd. IEEE 43-2013)
Standard capacitive test
HiPot (Step Voltage), IEEE 95-1977 (updated IEEE 95-2002)
Surge test, IEEE 522-1992 (updated IEEE 522-2004)
Tan delta test.
Rotor Influence Test- RIC
Inductive imbalance
Single phase rotation test, EASA 2003
Core ring test or loop test.
