BIO / ARTIST STATEMENT

Ever since I can remember, artistic expression has been an integral part of my life, despite my career and education being rooted in IT. Art has always been my go-to place to re-frame my thoughts, recharge, and express my creativity.

Inspired by the beauty of local visitors, the serenity of nature, and a profound love for flora and fauna that I have encountered both in India and Australia, I focus on creating simple yet provoking artwork using acrylics. My work aims to encapsulate the essence of my subjects in vibrant, bold colours, coupled with expressive and often exaggerated brush strokes. This technique strives to deliver the feeling and heighten the viewer's appreciation of the scene transformed into art. I don't paint literally; I leave that to photography!

Acrylics bring me immense joy to work with. Their rich, deep, bold colours and the quick-drying nature of the medium perfectly complement my intuitive approach, helping me deliver imaginative pieces with a unique perspective.

Now, taking a side step from my career in Tech, I am keen to expand my profile and share my creativity with the world. I draw inspiration from pets, nature, wildlife, and captured moments.
