When parents fill out their emergency contact form with the school for the first time, they are asked to if they would like their student to be opted out of district publications. If this box has been checked, students are added to the opt-out list and will not be included in the yearbook. The yearbook advisor will contact all students on the opt-out list by the beginning of October. If those students want to be removed from the opt-out list, they must contact the school secretary by the end of the month. If students are not on the opt-out list but desire to not be included in the yearbook, they must contact the school secretary by the end of October to be added to the opt-out list.

High schools may solicit business sponsorships to defray the cost of yearbooks. The Superintendent will formulate guidelines for the sale of sponsorships and guidelines to ensure that such sponsorships are acknowledged in the yearbooks in a dignified manner.
Advertising in other school publications may be accepted provided it meets criteria established in administrative guidelines.

incite violence, advocate the use of force, or urge the violation of law or school regulations.
The Board also prohibits publications and productions which promote, favor, or oppose any candidate for election to political office or the adoption of any bond issue, proposal, or question submitted at any election.
The decision to publish or produce something shall be made by the advisor with right of appeal to the principal and Superintendent.
