General Info

Students are NOT enrolled in the DHS Cheer Program until the following are completed:

1. Enrollment on AthleticClearance.com for the specified sport and correct school year.

2. Physical Clearance verified by DHS Student Activities.

3. Academic Clearance verified by DHS Student Activities.

4. Student and Parent/Guardian have digitally signed the commitment form (Enrollment is CLOSED for the 2021-2022 season). Join our interest list HERE for the 2022-2023 season.

Note about Program Certificates and PE Credit:

The school MAY allow cheer participation to qualify for PE credit when participation is consistent - just like it would be for a standard PE class.

Cheerleaders must show passing grade attendance to ALL practices and games to receive a certificate and PE credit. (AT LEAST 65% of all practices and may not miss more than one game unless exigent circumstances exist and/or otherwise excused from the Head Cheer Coach.) Attendance is recorded and verified by the Cheer Coach Staff and submitted to the school.
