BGMI offers similar gameplay to PUBG Mobile, where players are dropped onto an island and must scavenge for weapons, supplies, and vehicles while eliminating other players to be the last person or team standing. The game features various modes, including classic battle royale, team deathmatch, and arcade modes.
BGMI has gained significant popularity in India since its launch, attracting millions of players and becoming one of the most-played mobile games in the country. It has also contributed to the growth of the mobile gaming industry in India and has created opportunities for esports and competitive gaming events.

The ultimate goal is to be the last person or team standing. The game features a shrinking play zone, which forces players into closer proximity and intensifies the combat as the match progresses.
