High School Band

If youre currently enrolled in band, attend a parent meeting on March 21st at 7 pm in the D. Fabian High School Auditorium and put band on the enrollment sheet that's passed out by counselors to sign up for band for the upcoming school year!

If you're not in band but interested, contact a middle school band director to help get you a spot in the next school year's band.

D Fabian High School was founded in 1982, one year before the middle school. Named after clarinet professor Deborah Fabian at the University of North Texas, this school has gone to demonstrate success in academics, athletics, and achievements within the arts. This school is the lone high school in a growing district and has growing opportunities in all areas for students, including band. The D Fabian marching band started as a football band that accompanied the football team at its games. 10 years after the school opened, a new set of band directors pushed for the band to branch out into performing shows at contests and competitions for band. With support from the parents and staff at D. Fabian High School, the band has become a successful
marching, and concert band with many awards and achievements spanning the life of the program.
