Today at my stream I collected Microinvertebrates which so far is my favorite activity. Although I had a hard time finding riffles with moveable rocks and lighter movement I still got some critters. There aren't too many but a few of them are quite the bugs.
My Ph levels today were the same as yesterday which I wasn't suprised about because there had not been any weather changes.
Tempature today- 25.5 degrees celcius
The tempature of the water was 4 degrees warmer which is a pretty dramatic change. Today was definitely sunnier than yesterday so I am assuming that is why it had been warmer.
Sunday: 154- Monday: 164 - The conductivity levels have gone up by 10 since my last collection.
Here are some of the critters I found in my stream.
The bug on the left I believe is some kind of Fishfly. It was quite large and had a hard shell that I like to think is its armor. The one on the right is a worm that I could not identify but it moved similarly to a maggot.
I am not sure what kind of fish this is but it looked similar to a cat fish! There are 3 different kinds of fish in my stream. One looks species looks like a guppy, one is a larger fish, and then this one in the image which looks like it sticks to rocks and eats the algae.
