Science is not as scary as it sounds. The nature of science includes goals, questions, and observations. That is what I hope to teach my students. I want them to know that science is all around them and can be seen everywhere. When I teach science I want to be more of a facilitator. I want to give my students the power of learning. I want them to discover ideas on their own and lead themselves to explanations. I will of course be there to help and guide them, but I want them to be in charge of their learning. I believe students learn better when they discover it themselves, not when I tell them, and I think that is so powerful.
