Information literacy is defined as having a skill to find and use reliable sources , navigate databases and being able to correctly cite sources. Information literacy is important because there are accurate and inaccurate sources online so it becomes hard to identify the reliable source to use and even some articles are not believable and sometimes they are biased. There are also fake news online that are spreading incorrect information . So you should be aware of content that are not reliable and think about where you get information when you are doing a research . Information literacy is combines different skill which they serve as an guideline when you are doing a research on a specific topic. The skills of information literacy (Eoghan Ryan, 2022).
