Cyberbullying it is defined as being bullied through online media one may expirience cyberbullying when fake information is being shared to everyone to a point where it get viral. As a result one may feel embarrassed , depressed or even try to commit suicide. Furthermore Cyberbullying is usually caused by irresponsible use of smart devices and also by imbalance of power (Beringer, 2011). One can use the power of being the popular kid amoung his or her peers to bully others (Vandeboch & Van Element, 2008) argued that if a person is advanced to technology and has better knowledge regarding to ICT him or her can use the skills to cyberbully others.
Protective measures against cyberbullying.
Parents can monitor their child's social media activities which can reduce the inappropriate participation of cyberbullying (Mesch , 2018).
In the education system teachers should be trained to gain enough knowledge to teach leaners to use internet responsible in order to create a cyber-free environment (Carmen martizen et al.,2019).
It is important to use Digital platforms correctly because " the digital nature of cyberbullying creates a permanent record of negative information that can affect your future" (Eden et al., 2013, p1039).
