1/29/2018 3D Derby Requirements

The requirements needed for this design challenge includes many things like researching car designs and their effect on speed. you also have to use programs like sketch up to make the original car designs. Then we would have to print out our original models in the 3d printer. After that we would have to attach axels and wheels to the printed 3d models and test it on the ramps. After that we take the car too the tournament and see who's car is the fastest.

The entire car must be less than 100 grams or less.The car dimension must be no larger than 5'' long x 2.5'' wide x 2 tall. There also must be more than 1/4'' (6.35mm) clearance under the car between the wheels.The entire car must be printed. But the nails and screws are an exception. The car may be printed in pieces but has to be assembles by glue. Teams also must submit a design document by 11:59 in march 3,2018
