Habitats: Desert, Tundra, Floating Islands
Territorial: No
Diet: Scavenged Meat, Hunted meat
Nesting Season: Spring, Summer
Nesting Grounds: Within territory
Solo creature
Important notes:
-SPEED BLITZ: can use at any time (but I think it’s currently broken)
-Doesn’t hunt for food unless below roughly ¼ hunger or when hunting with Bazelii every other season
-Nests asexually, cares for 1 child until it reaches adulthood
Description: Banishii is a cynical yet graceful sign of purity in Sonaria. The bright circle on the center of its chest and the halos on its horns are a symbol for otherworldly celestial beings, or at least that is what the Banishii is known to tell others. Their light, yet powerful wings, help it soar through the skies effortlessly and impressively. With the help of its strong legs, Bani can lift itself high into the air and use its haunting yet beautiful calls for all creatures to hear.
Behavior: During the day, they often like to show their grace by displaying their wings to any creature it spots. Banishii think very highly of themselves, believing they are a higher being of sorts over all other creatures. Although, they rarely like to prove their power through fights with other powerful creatures. It often likes to stay flying or at least living up in high altitudes. Not only do they prefer living in high altitudes, they also despise living in enclosed or dark areas. During the night, they will try to find the highest, most open, and brightest place they can in order to peacefully sleep.
Unpredictable Mimicker: Banishii is often drawn towards watching predators as they go for the hunt and kill. This creature will use what it has learned to its own advantage due to not adopting a hunting tactic of its own. It may even take nibbles from the other predators' prize from time to time. Once a Banishii spots prey, it will chase after it using other carnivores’ tactics, mainly to inject fear into its victim. But don’t be fooled by this, if a Banishii is desperate enough for food, creatures will hope to never be seen and be injected with its deadly toxin.
Yin & Yang: In the rare occasion where a Banishii and a Bazelii meet, they almost immediately have a connection. With purity and corruption together, they are naturally drawn to balance one another. As they live their lives together, they will continue to go on with their normal individual habits. During Sakura, the pair will perform various air shows for the creatures to watch to celebrate balance. During this time, both creatures will scavenge for food. But, once Famine hits, both will mercilessly kill any creature when hunger arises. They will continue this pattern of alternating seasons until one or the other dies or they seperate; although the latter is rare.

Habitats: Volcano Island, Pride Rocks, Flower Cove
Territorial: No
Diet: Scavenged Meat, Hunted Meat (when berserk)
Nesting Season: Fall, Famine
Nesting Grounds: Caves within habitat
Solo creature
Important notes:
- UNBRIDLED RAGE: use only to hunt or defend offspring
- Still follow rules to prevent overhunting!
- Won't hunt until below ¼ hunger; when hungry, hunts recklessly until full
- Do not protect creatures you hang out with, the exception being bonded Banishii
Description: Bazelii are menacing, draconic creatures. They are lumbering and slow, but very powerful. The huge eyes on their neck, chest, and palms are not eyes at all, but jewels that contain reservoirs of dark energy. Their immense, jagged wings, skeletal plating, and glowing lines of energy further serve to intimidate others. Bazelii are able to see in total darkness, which allows them to dwell in caves. Because of this, they see no need to settle down in one place, as they can always find the nearest cave when it gets too bright out.
Behavior: These intelligent beasts like company and they'd much rather hang around other creatures to swagger, show off, and socialize than hunt them. However, living off of mainly scavenged meat gets to Bazelii. When a Bazelii's hunger drops too low, their darker nature overwhelms them. They lose their rationality, attacking whatever they think they can defeat, and dragging the corpse away to devour. They won't stop raging until they're completely full again. To avoid this fate, other creatures often run from them even when they're calm, though the more intelligent ones may try to appease them with food gifts. Bazelii want to be looked up to and admired, and they resent their status as beings of darkness, for they know others fear them. In the event that another creature is brave (or foolhardy) enough to stick around, the Bazelii will cheerfully chat with them, demonstrate its strength, and even spar if they'd like.
Nesting: Bazelii rarely nest, but occasionally one will reproduce asexually, temporarily settling down in a cave and focusing their energy to create a small, identical copy of themselves. They will zealously take care of the child until it reaches adulthood, viciously attacking anything they see as a threat to their child. This is the only time a Bazelii will be territorial or hunt if it is not starving; the survival of the child is a top priority.
Yin & Yang: Should a Bazelii chance upon a Banishii, the two will instantly recognize one another as counterparts. They are drawn together, knowing they complete one another. In the Sakura season, the Bazelii will join the Banishii in its air shows, while in Famine, the Banishii will hunt alongside the raging Bazelii. They will continue to alternate seasons of which they hunt until one or the other dies or they seperate.

Habitats: Desert, Pride Rocks, Flower Cove
Territorial: No (Highly to bright creatures)
Diet: Plants, Scavenged Meat
Nesting Season: Summer, Drought
Nesting Grounds: Within territory
Family creature (3 adults, 2 children max)
Important Notes:
- SPEED BLITZ: Use to escape predation or when racing other creatures/relatives
- When angry at bright creatures, make sure to aggro and call (7 or 9) first
- Only two Firakai will fight back against predators while one escapes with young
- At most 2 children throughout the entire pack (not 2 children per female)
Description: Nicknamed the booming light of the night, Firakai are the living embodiment of an explosion. This species can be found in many bright colors and have some of the largest variety of colors in nature. Their relatively top-heavy build is distributed by their detachable arms that can be shot off like a rocket at aggressors, or generally used to grab berries off bushes. Firakai are very energetic and release that energy by wrestling with other Firakai for fun and running to their heart’s content. They communicate with other Firakai and also release energy by making booming calls that can be heard for seemingly miles.
Behavior: Other than eating plants or interacting with other creatures, Firakai are rarely in one place, playing and racing with their family until they finally tire themselves out. These families are composed of three adult Firakai of any gender and their children, if any. Firakai, however, possess an explosive personality that, while they are initially quite amiable and friendly, can turn quite hostile when aggravated by another creature’s brightness. Seeing other bright creatures as a challenge to their own pride, Firakai will roar and put on an aggressive display before attacking. Though the Firakai won’t chase the creature, they won’t give up until they run away or put up a good fight back. If the creature does prove itself to be a formidable threat, the Firakai will back away, but only after coming up with some excuse to keep its ego afloat. When threatened themself, two mates of the Firakai family will fight back against the predator momentarily while the final will defend the young in their escape to safety. Firakai will brawl with their family often to exercise some of their energy, however Firakai families that come across love to have friendly brawls that never go to death. Firakai love to show off their brightness to other creatures, and sometimes even present or discuss their family members and young to friendly creatures.
Nesting: Firakai families need at least one male for the females to nest, and the pack will at most collectively nest two children. These young ones, called sparklers, often wrestle among each other and even have scheduled playing sessions with other Firakai families under the supervision of their parents. Though they are a little bit of a hassle with their boundless energy, the collective supervision of three parents keeps the sparklers’ haste in check. Once the young ones reach adulthood, the two part ways from their family and sometimes form a partially incomplete pack, though they will not nest together.

Habitats: Pride Rocks, Flower Cove, Desert, Forgotten Shores
Territorial: No
Diet: Plants
Nesting Season: Winter, Sakura, Famine
Nesting Grounds: Sheltered areas
Pair/Pack creature (1 Moemoea = 2 Dragonixsauria)
Important notes:
-POISON AREA: Use only in self-defense when alone (without partner or dragonix)
-TOXIC TRAP: Only used around your nest
-Do not provide protection for any creature that is not a mate/offspring/Dragonixsauria in the herd
-Warn predatory creatures that approach with Z (aggro) animation and 3 (aggro) call first
-Chase creature away if it does not heed warning (leave it alone once it flees)
-If without one, seek a mate in Spring, Summer, or Drought
-Shelter in Winter, Sakura, and Famine ( Pairs can nest during this time as well )
Description: Despite their strength and size, Moemoea are often very kind, melodic creatures. Their crests are capable of producing nasally songs that can be heard by other Moemoea from miles away. Traveling alone when without a mate, they’ll only stay in shelter for long when it becomes cold.
Behavior: Moemoea are creatures friendly to anything prey-like, loving to chat and play, but provide them no protection. On the other hand, they are quite hostile towards predatory species, and will display aggression if one approaches too closely to them or their family. They’ll even chase them for a few paces if they refuse to back off; though this rarely if ever leads to a predator's death, for once they flee the Moemoea will leave them alone. Almost always on the move, only during Winter, Sakura, and Famine will Moemoea seek out places of shelter, to avoid the cold said seasons bring. Although not unfriendly to others of their own kind they’ll only stay with, travel, and protect their own mate and offspring.
Mating/Nesting: Throughout the warm seasons of Spring, Summer, and Drought, mature Moemoea may seek out a mate. If two lone males try to pair with the same female, they’ll duel each other; the winner pairing with the female and chasing the loser away. Uniquely, while they can not nest, some Moemoea may choose to forgo this process, pairing with a partner of the same gender instead. Once paired they’ll stay together for life, only ever seeking another mate if their partner dies. During the seasons they shelter from the cold, opposite-gendered Moemoea pairs may choose to nest. Female Moemoea nest a single child at a time, protecting them with their life. A child will stay with their parents until their late teens (age 50), whereupon they’ll leave to travel alone until old enough to seek a mate.
Mixpacking: Moemoea are closely related to Dragonixsauria, and as a result are very fond of them. Although aware they are an entirely different species Moemoea can’t help but see Dragonixsauria as their own children, and feel the need to protect them as such. Moemoea will allow up to two Dragonixsauria of any gender or age to travel with them at any given time. The Dragonixsauria that travel with them are the only creatures Moemoea are willing to protect outside of their own family. Moemoea may even attempt to dive underwater with Dragonixsauria to feed with them, being equally adept swimmers. If any outsider attempts to seek protection in the herd, Moemoea will see this as a threat; due to this they will attack and drive it away as if it were a predatory species.

Habitats: Pride Rocks, Desert, Flower Cove
Territorial: No
Diet: Plants, Plant Meat
Nesting Season: Spring, Summer, Drought
Nesting Grounds: Oasis
Pair creature
Important Notes:
-Use Aggro animation + Calls when approached by other species (Only attack if other creature does not back off, and do not pursue when they do)
-Can hunt photovorous species (Photovores + Photocarnis) within their sight when hungry
-Lone Torches gather at the Volcano during the day, during any season, to find a partner
-Can pair regardless of gender, but only pairs with both a male and female can nest
-Young are kept and raised around the Volcano until they are adults
- Should only rarely hunt photovores / photocarnivores if there is NO other food in sight
Description: Torcherouk are brazen blistering bird-like beasts, it is said that they set fire to the ground wherever they roam. They are a particularly unfriendly species, only tolerant of others of their own kind.
Behavior: Torches are roaming creatures, they do not linger in any area long, outside of when with young. They aren’t a very friendly species, and will avoid most other forms of life as they wander; they’ll only occasionally stop to converse with other Torch. Should they be approached by another species they will stand tall and begin flapping their wings, while calling in an aggressive manner. Only should their display fail to scare the creature off will they attack; they will not pursue creatures once they back off. Torches are always bold in the face of danger, and will fight back fiercely against anything that dares to threaten them. This can lead them to be reckless, carelessly trespassing through the territories of other species, and fighting back against opponents far stronger than themselves. Unless severely injured a Torch will never flee; if this happens they will often become careful to avoid the thing, or creature, that caused the damage. Lastly, curiously enough, when hungry Torches may occasionally hunt photovorous species within their vicinity. If it looks like a plant, then food it must be, even if it runs and screams!
Volcano: The volcano plays an important role in the lives of all Torch; they’re all born within lava, and it is said their souls return to it when they die so that they may be reborn as a Torch again! During the daytime, of all parts of the year, lone Torches may be seen wandering around the Volcano in search of a partner. Torches will pick a partner regardless of gender; some may even spar one another should they both be interested in the same individual. Once paired up, unless death should do them apart, they will stay together for the rest of their lives. During the hottest points of the year pairs made up of a male and female partner may migrate to the volcano to nest. They create their nests in lava, either within or on the outside of the volcano's structure. It is believed that the lava gives them their souls; if hatched outside of it a Torch will be strange, fireless, and sickly. They will have any amount of chicks, and are extremely defensive of them; they will protect them even should it spell their own demise. Pairs keep and raise their young around the volcano until they are adults and can then fend for themselves. Chicks can often be seen happily playing with the chicks of other Torch families as they grow.

Habitats: Desert, Redwoods, Tundra
Territorial: No
Diet: Hunted meat
Nesting Season: Spring, Winter
Nesting Grounds: Secluded area
Solo creature
Important Notes:
-AREA SHOCK: Only use when threatened or hunting
-Only fight other Zolbatros when they accept your challenge; do NOT ignore challenges, either yield and run away, or accept the challenge
-Abandon stalking creatures that are 1 biome’s length away (or are running away from you)
Description: Zolbatros are giant scorpions that display large claws and a long tail, finished with a venomous stinger. These creatures, though plenty capable with their large claws alone, possess a special compound that allows them to exert constant electricity, controlling their temperature and serving as a shocking defensive mechanism, if a little physically costly. Though their generator-like compound allows Zolbatros to be relatively unconcerned with temperature regulation, Zolbatros have no issue with settling down in caves. Regardless, using their electricity emitting abilities in non-dire situations can be costly, and frequent use of it could be enough to severely injure or even kill a Zolbatros; usage of it is kept to a minimum.
Behavior: Quicker than average in walking, Zolbatros take a unique approach to hunting. Zolbatros rarely spend time waiting for their prey to come along, and they don’t have nearly enough speed or energy to chase a creature. To compromise, Zolbatros often stalk a specific creature or pack for a while, never revealing itself or attacking until the time is exactly right. If the target gets far away too quickly or is at least the entire length of a biome away, the Zolbatros gives up. If the Zolbatros successfully goes unnoticed, it will lash out at the right time, preferring when a creature is at their most vulnerable. Zolbatros are not friendly towards others of the same species, and usually display their claws in an effort to make the other back away. These challenges rarely escalate into violence, though if it did, they almost never result in death.
Nesting: Though most interactions are hostile, during the seasons of Spring and Winter, Zolbatros are less aggressive to each other. This is their natural breeding season, so most fights are to get a chance to mate. Zolbatros gather in the desert to battle; both genders battle amongst themselves, and the dominant pair will mate, and the remaining will mate however they wish, if at all. The pair really only returns to each other when the eggs are ready to hatch, and at most two will hatch; elsewise they are functionally still solo. The father takes the hatchlings, and will care for them until teenhood. They hide under the father’s central body for the sake of protection. If the father is caring for multiple Zoblies, these children will play-fight with no rest, often exhibiting hunting behaviors in the image of their father. Fathers typically recognize their children if they ever cross paths, and the encounter won’t be aggressive like most other Zolbatros meetings. They will not remain together, however.
