Donors are essential to the Desert Fence Busters' mission, providing the vital resources and support needed to protect wildlife.
Vital Support
The Desert Fence Busters rely on the support of donors to carry out their mission, incurring costs that include essential tools such as loppers, bolt cutters, and other equipment needed to safely and efficiently remove old fencing. A winding machine mounted on an all-terrain vehicle significantly boosts efficiency.
To efficiently manage the tools, equipment, and supplies essential for the organization's mission, a trailer for secure storage and transportation is required.
Electrolyte drinks and nutritious snacks are provide during workdays to ensure everyone remains energized and hydrated throughout the physically demanding tasks. At the base camp, volunteers can take a well-deserved break in a comfortable setup with tents, tables, and chairs, offering a place to rest and recharge before continuing their efforts.
The need for tools and equipment, along with the costs of snacks, hydration supplies, and base camp amenities, emphasize the critical role of donor contributions in sustaining and advancing these vital initiatives. Every donation helps empower volunteers and maintain the tools and equipment necessary to make a lasting impact.
The Desert Fence Busters is a collaboration of independent organizations participating to achieve common goals. At this time, it is not a formal non-profit entity (501c3). However, we can accept donations via the Friends of Ironwood Forest (FIF). The FIF is our custodian for donations and recycling revenue – and is a 501c3 non-profit.
